Responsible Use

Powerful intelligence software requires accountable access.

The capability to correlate identities, infrastructure and relationships at speed is only legitimate when it is used lawfully, for a declared purpose, by people who remain accountable for the outcome. Intelis is designed around that principle. Capability is constrained by purpose; access is controlled; and activity is auditable. This page sets out how we keep it that way.

Safeguards

Platform safeguards.

Restraint is engineered in, not left to good intentions. These controls govern how an investigation is authorised, scoped and recorded within the Investigation Suite.

Prohibited use

Strictly prohibited.

Intelis is not a surveillance tool for use against people who have not been lawfully and legitimately made the subject of an authorised investigation. The following uses are prohibited without exception, and engagements that would require them are declined.

  • Stalking or harassment Prohibited
  • Doxxing or intimidation Prohibited
  • Unlawful surveillance Prohibited
  • Discrimination Prohibited
  • Targeting vulnerable people Prohibited
  • Unauthorised system access Prohibited
  • Credential misuse Prohibited
  • Mass personal-data harvesting Prohibited

Human control

Automation assists. People remain responsible.

Automated systems accelerate collection and surface patterns a person could not assemble by hand. They do not decide what is true. Every association proposed by the Suite is a suggestion until an analyst confirms, disputes or rejects it, and every conclusion in a delivered brief carries the reasoning and sources behind it.

This is human-in-the-loop by design: professional users retain responsibility for verification, interpretation and action. The technology makes analysts faster and more thorough — it never removes them from the loop, and it never presents an automated inference as an established fact.

Lawful basis

Lawful, authorised, accountable.

Intelis is intended for lawful, authorised and professionally accountable intelligence work. Engagements begin with a declared purpose and an agreed scope, and collection stays within those boundaries. We work from lawful sources — public records, open sources and datasets a client is authorised to share.

Activity within an investigation is logged and auditable, so how a finding was reached can be re-examined later. Where a request falls outside a legitimate, authorised purpose — or would require any prohibited use — it is declined. Capability without accountability is not a service we offer.
